This week I bring you illustrations and paintings that are unique and awesome, but then, I do that every week. Arash Radkia is a freelance concept artist and illustrator and works out of Prague.
Although finding examples of his work online was not a problem, finding more information about the man turned out far more of a challenge. I tried of course, but time limitations meant I could only spend a certain amount of time doing research. So, like on earlier occasions, we’ll let the art do the talking.
I’ve collected some of his work below, sourced from across the Internet. Each image links back to the site of origin. Enjoy!
Arash is one of those artists who possesses the ability to create beauty in a single stroke. If you look at some of the illustrations here, they come across as a chaotic mess of strokes and lines and yet, you find yourself mesmerized, both by his skill and by the tone captured in his work. Arash’s illustrations and paintings are truly powerful and evocative. You should also see some of his other, non-fantasy work. He seems to post a lot of his newer art on Facebook.
And there you have it for this week’s fantasy artist. I hope you enjoyed it. Remember, Armistice went live this week. It’s now available on Amazon. If you want to buy a copy and thereby give new energy to my future words, please feel free to do so. Otherwise, check out my previous post.

I didn’t know this artist, but he’s truly awesome. I particularly like the sketches, those messy gatherings of lines. So vibrant. Love it 🙂
I suspect he uses magic. Love his work.
