As I slowly get back into the habit of blogging regularly again I think this linked blog post is an excellent kick-off and a worthy challenge, which I, through this re-post, formally accept.

In short:

Pre-Tolkien Short Story Challenge

• Identify 3 Fantasy stories written before Lord of the Rings was published. 3 stories written before 1954.
• Review all three on your blog, focusing on pre-Tolkien differences of similarities, and making sure you let us know where we can find them for ourselves.
• Share the challenge.

I have identified three stories that I remember reading many years ago that I will review. Why not do the same?
