Veronika Kozlova is from Oryol, Russia and that is as much as I know of her background. And trust me, as with all the artists I feature here, I do my research. The whole point is to give exposure to artists and their work and make their names known to more people. Unfortunately, with Veronika, I did not find a lot of information. Her online footprint is minimal at best. What I do know is, she is an awesome artist and I want to share her work with you.

I love the brilliant colors. I know these illustrations are supposed to be dark but that is not the feeling I’m getting. The translucent layering effect coupled with multicolored shards of light diminishes any possible “dark” impact they may have. Check out the rest of her work here.

As for writerly things, we’re almost there, folks. Armistice is this close to being released. It’s happening this week. Look out for a post from me in a few days.
